Щодо повідомлення RASFF No 2023.0797-fup 7 про імпортування з Бразилії невідповідного харчового продукту (рису)
До Державної служби України з питань безпечності харчових продуктів та
захисту споживачів через систему швидкого оповіщення щодо харчових
продуктів та кормів (RASFF) надійшло повідомлення від 17 лютого 2023 року No
2023.0797-fup 7, стосовно виявлення перевищення допустимого рівня Кадмію у
рисі для ризотто, що експортувався з Італії (виробник: Sapori Nostrani di Giorgio
Turco, Italy; трейдер: WB Polska Sp. z o.o., Poland) до України (одержувач: ТзОВ
«БЮРО ВИН», вул. Мечникова, 9, м. Київ, 01021) (додається).
Невідповідний харчовий продукт може нанести шкоду здоров’ю
споживача (Кадмій і його сполуки є надзвичайно токсичними, навіть, у
незначних концентраціях. Має властивість накопичуватись в організмах і
екосистемах. Вдихання кадмієвого пилу швидко призводить до захворювань,
часто смертельних, дихальних шляхів і нирок (найчастіше — ниркова
недостатність). Поглинення будь-якої значної кількості кадмію викликає негайне
ураження печінки і нирок. Сполуки, що містять кадмій, є також
канцерогенними).

Staff of the ASL of Alessandria carried out an inspection at
the Principato di Lucedio SRL company and ascertained
that the rice arrived in the quantity of 7000 kg from the
Greppi SRL Riseria in the month of May 2022. A small
part was sold to the wholesaler AB Eiring Oy in Finland on
05/26/2022 in the quantity of 100 kg. In addition,
approximately 6900 kg were packaged in 1 kg and 0.5 kg
packages with batch CBO 122 and different deadlines.
Investigations are underway at the rice supplier (Riseria
Greppi srl) the results of which will be included in a
subsequent follow-up. Besides sent to Finland, product
distributed in Italy, United Kingdom, Poland, Bulgaria,
Romania, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Thailand.

The Bulgarian operator received 20 pcs of 500 g “Riso
Carnaroli” L СВ0122, and there areno available quantities
left. The product is sold at retail level, and a notification for
the clients is placed in the stores.

Our policy colleagues have provided a risk management
advice and said that a lower maximum level for cadmium
in rice applies in the EU (0.15mg/kg) to GB (0.20mg/kg).
Taking the measurement uncertainty into account, this rice
is compliant with GB MLs. As the product has been
distributed to GB only, no further action is required. As
such, there is no further action for the Food Standards
Agency, and I will be closing this incident case.
